The Ray

The Ray, a rarely-appearing backgrounder on the show is getting a figure in the Justice League line. Being a character with no accessories, one finds it perfectly alright to find him in a 3-pack (except for the fact that that same 3-pack contains Shayera Hol, who needs her mace). The figure stands a bit taller than many of the figures because his collar has a neck sculpt and so does his head, making for a slightly awkward long neck.. His entire jacket and details, like most of the figures are merely painted on, but it is obvious that the Type 3 body was a good choice to lay it on, as it appears somewhat padded. The headsculpt is marginally more faithful to the model than the earlier prototype and has his back ridges painted black. The color on Ray is muted yellow instead of bright which also allows the figure to stay more on model but is not as contrasting. He comes with the 3-pack that was last to be released as part of series 4 but was cancelled and became the exclusive 3-pack for SDCC 2007.
