Anchoring the second wave of DC Universe Classic figures are two versions of Superman. This time we have him as the electric Superman, in this case Superman:Red. First seen in Superman Red/Superman Blue#1, after an attempt on his life by the Cyborg, inadvertedly splitting him into two beings, the somber Superman Blue and the rougher Superman red. Details at Superman Homepage. This new Superman is very close in headsculpt and body sculpt (without the costume detail) to the other DCSH Superman figures previously released.

The figure is packaged with two detachable 'electric aura' attachments which go on the arms. They can be placed anywhere in the arm or in the body, though it's recommended you massage them inwards to make them tighter before applying. A third attachment is attached to his back, which seems to not be meant to be taken out, but it can come off with a bit of a tug. In fact the Superman Red in our collection had his piece come right off. This piece can still be attached later on just like any regular attachment due to the peg hole in the back.

It is interesting to note that the headsculpt on Superman Red, which is modified slightly from Superman Blue, perfectly sets him apart from his other self, giving each figure more than just a color-change as a distinction, but making them separate characters as well.

Worry not! Both Superman figures are as available as each other as they are packed evenly in boxes. Both come with the same piece to build Gorilla Grodd.
