Synopsis- SPOILER ALERT!!! |
|
Chancing upon an offshoot of the league in battle, the female Marvel helps
out. After introducing herself, she asks one of them, the Elongated Man, for
a favor. The team takes her to the watchtower where she asks J'onn to meet
Wonder Woman. he kindly informs her that she is away and that she can meet
her if she's willing to wait. As she agrees, J'onn introduces her to
Supergirl. They quickly warm up to each other and the newly-named 'Mary
Marvel' confides in Supergirl and asks her for advice on how to be set apart
from her male counterpart. Catching herself before she makes a speech,
Supergirl instead decides to take her on-site, to the battle that is ensuing
between Wonder Woman's all-woman team and the Olympians. Supergirl informs
her that J'onn picked them out, probably not realizing they were all women,
and that each was there for something unique they brought to the table. as
the battle took longer, Supergirl decided to help but was stopped by Mary.
Mary's 'wisdom' tells her that something else is affecting the battle. Soon
they find Argus, the telepath of the Olympians and easily breaks the
villainous team's cohesion. |

Logic Out The Window |
|
This occurred after
'Clash', as pegged by Elongated man and J'onn's remarks about Capt. Marvel,
and yet we see Huntress in the team, who has supposedly been fired, and
wearing her old uniform no less. We also see Shayera maskless, and yet
instead of her 'track suit', we see her in Hawkgirl garb. It is noted by
Paul Storrie that they do not see the comic as a part of the continuity as a
whole. |
