Synopsis- SPOILER ALERT!!! |
|
Steel
is doing an inventory of Red Tornado's inner workings and is just about done
for the day when Red Tornado's body goes berserk, independent from his mind.
He runs rampant through the Watchtower and heads fro Earth, leaving several
leaguers floating in space. The leaguers follow him to a construction
site where he is doing much damage. The leaguers attempt to bring him down
to safety, but they fail one by one. Red Tornado tells Steel that the only
way for his uncontrollable rampage to end is if Steel destroys him. The
league continues to try to restrain him. Soon, it becomes apparent that
Steel try to use a switch he had found earlier inside of Red Tornado to shut
him down. Red Tornado warns him of the risk. Steel does it anyway and
succeeds. Later, we see that Batman was able to trace the hack job to a
hacker that was under Amanda Waller's employ. Batman warns her against
further attempts in the future. |

This issue closely
ties in to the Cadmus arc. Here, Waller attempts, and nearly succeeds, in
discrediting the league due to media exposure of Red Tornado's rampage.
Booster notes that they have enough problems 'with the government. |

Steel is in his
correct suit. however he does sport a beard and mustache similar to Green

Sky'. |

This story played
out really well with the friendship between Steel and Red Tornado. we get to
see Steel's skepticism of Red Tornado's mystical element, being a scientist.
More soon. |
