Continuity Go Bye Bye

Batman spends a lot of the comic riding shotgun to the Creeper. Now that's fine, but he acts totally clueless the entire way. Not the way Batman has been written out. It is upon Starman's mention of 'not having someone crazy' that Batman quits hours of research to pick up on the Creeper. Once he joins him however, he begins asking the Creeper in plain view what is going on, and wonders aloud why the Madmen would commit certain acts as if he does not have a grip on insane criminals back in Gotham.

There seems to be no problem with the animated continuity.

Fashion Sense

Blue Beetle's uniform 'electrified looks loads like his other comic uniform.

Review

While I enjoyed the appearance of the Creeper and the reappearance of Blue beetle AND Barberi's art (as always). The fact that Batman was off-character the entire comic really bothers me. It was interesting to see the Creeper doing a sleuth book but I can't shake the feeling that Batman's not the dude for the passenger seat. He acts totally dense throughout the book despite actually uttering the words 'I am a detective.' While Batman's a shoe-in for a Creeper tie-in, this wasn't the way to go. If they wanted some guy taggin' along and asking questions, why not the Question?

Notable for

- finally giving the Creeper spotlight.

- somehow featuring Blue Beetle. this even begins in his '1st person' narrative.
