Origin/History: Rocketed from the dying planet Krypton by his parents Jor-El and Lora, young Kal-El landed on Earth and was found by Jonathan and Martha Kent who named him Clark Kent. Finding that Earth’s yellow sun gave him a multitude of super powers, Clark donned a costume and has since fought evil and injustice as Superman.

Moment of Glory: When didn’t Superman have a moment of glory? Seriously, there are just too many to list. Besides being the leader of the Super Friends, he was also their major muscle. Superman turned the tide of the battle in several episodes including “Conquerors of The Future”, “The Time Trap”, and “The Final Challenge”.

Moment of Shame: In the Super Friends’ episode “The Giants of Doom”, four members of the Legion of Doom (Bizarro, Toyman, Captain Cold, and Sinestro) are turned into 100 ft. giants. The four of them attack the Super Friends with little warning. Superman attempts to stop Bizarro and is swatted away like a feeble insect.
