Powers: Grodd is a super-intelligent gorilla. Besides possessing gorilla strength, he is able to read thoughts, cast illusions, and take mental control of others.

Origin/History: Grodd was rebel from Gorilla City While trying to take over the city, he came into conflict with the super-speedster known as the Flash. Seeking allies to help him take control of Gorilla City, Grodd joined forces with the Legion of Doom. Grodd’s greatest ally within the group is his mistress Giganta who is obsessed with him.

Moment of Glory: In the Super Friends’ episode “Revenge on Gorilla City”, Grodd leads the Legion of Doom into Gorilla City. The Gorilla Army under estimates him and soon find themselves under his mental control. Even King Solivar is forced to leave the city and seek out the help of the Super Friends in order to take back the city..

Moment of Shame: In the Super Friends’ episodes “The Time Trap”, Grodd is in full ferocious form and about to attack Batman and Robin and is stopped by some resin spray from their utility belts! Such a quick ending to a vicious attack!
