Real Name: Doris Zeul

Powers: Giganta can grow to 50 ft. tall and she has super-strength in her normal and giant-sized form.

Origin/History: Dr. Zeul was a mad scientist from Gorilla City, trying anything to achieve wealth and power to impress her companion Gorilla Grodd. After she found her gorilla prowess useless in defeating Wonder Woman, Dr. Zeul had her brain transplanted into the body of a circus strong-woman named Olga. Shortly after that, she made her way to a Native American Indian reservation where she crossed paths with the soon to be Apache Chief. Witnessing an Indian shaman take a pouch of mystic powder and sprinkle the powder on Apache Chief, she saw the young brave grow to 50 ft. tall. Using a rope she had with her, Dr. Zeul snagged the pouch from the shaman and sprinkled the dust on herself, which in turn gave her the power to grow to 50 ft. tall. Taking the name Giganta, she has used her new abilities to menace Wonder Woman, Apache Chief, the Super-Friends, and the Justice League.

Moment of Glory: The Super-Friends’ episode “Revenge On Gorilla City”. Giganta single-handedly stops an army of gorillas from attacking the Legion of Doom.

Moment of Shame: The Super-Friends’ episode “Giants of Doom”. In the episode, Bizarro invents a ray that turns 4 members of the Legion of Doom into 100 ft. giants. Sadly, after criticizing Bizarro at the beginning of the episode, Giganta is not seen again even though the growth ray could have made her at least 200 ft. tall if not bigger.
