Captain Cold

Real Name: Leonard Snart

Base of Operations: Keystone City, Central City

Group Affiliation: The Legion of Doom, The Secret Society of Super-Villains

Powers: Captain Cold has no known super powers. He does carry with him, a gun that can fire beams of extreme cold that can lower the temperature of anything they hit to absolute zero.

Origin/History: Raised by an abusive father, Leonard Snart turned to life of crime when he got older. Fearing the interference of the Flash in his proposed crime-spree, Leonard created a handgun capable of shooting ice-cold beams in hopes of freezing the Flash dead in his tracks.

Moment of Glory: During the Super Friends’ episode the “Giants of Doom”, Bizarro had turned himself, The Toyman, Sinestro, and Captain Cold into 100 ft. giants. The Super-Friends assemble to take on the giants and Captain Cold puts a quick end to their crusade by freezing them all with one blast from his cold-gun.

Moment of Shame: In the same episode mentioned above, The Flash defeats Captain Cold by freezing him with the same blast that Captain Cold had aimed at The Flash.
