Da na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na GLASSMAN!
I was for a long time only a Star Wars customizer. Some may know me from the Star Wars customizing world.
I started customizing Star Wars figures at the age of 9. Almost 30 years ago. They looked terrible, but they were figures that only I had. In my teenage years I got away from toys till well into my 20's when Star Wars Figures made a return under Kenner. This is where my Real customizing started. I wanted characters from the various books. I made the Solo Kids and I haven't stopped since.
After being inspired by the great Bantha5 and RickyUK, I dove head first into sculpting.I always wanted to learn new techniques to help me develop my customs over time.Along with that I slowly learned how to make molds and cast parts. This may be what I am known for today. Unique sculpts and using cast parts.
I collect mainly 3 ¾" figures simply because I can shelf more of them, so when Mattel started their line for Justice League figures I grabbed up every one I could find.As always, there were characters I wanted that weren't available and I used what custom skills I learned from Star Wars and applied it to the JL and JLU line.
I have always been into art, sketching, drawing and painting since I was a child, so to me this is another expression of artwork. I am very selective about what I make, so I may not have the large numbers customs as others. I've made about 200 figures over the years.
I keep trying to learn new techniques and urge every customizer to do the same. There are no bad customs, just customs that need more time put into them.
I have made numerous tutorials to help share what I know, cause that is how I learned. I am always willing to "spread the wealth" of information I've picked up over the years. So feel free to ask.
Hope you enjoy my work.
