Main Customizing Interest: JLU, although I just started branching out to other areas.
Secondary Customizing Interest: I'm a movie buff so I think I'll head in that direction.
Third Customizing Interest: I might try Star Wars, Star Trek or Marvel.
Why do you customize: I wanted a "Question" figure badly so I made one. He turned out pretty decent so I did another. Now I can't stop. It's like eating a Lays potato chip.
Where do you customize: At the dining room table. (my wife still hasn't seen all the knicks I put in there)
When did you start customizing: I'm new to the game. Probably around early 2007.
When do you customize: Usually at night.
How much time, on average, do you spend customizing each week: I have a little girl and an Autistic boy. Together they're my #1 priority. Once they're to bed I'm lucky to get in an hour or two before I crash out.
How many customs have you done: 39 and counting
What type/brand of paint do you use: Folk Art - cheap & good variety of colors
Have you ever bought a custom: No, but if I did it would be Glassman's Amanda Waller. She's become my Holy Grail.
Have you ever sold one of your customs: I just recently started selling. I still have 19 that I can't part with.
Are there any other types of customs that you have never done but would like to try: I think I might tackle a few Marvel Heroes.
Why did you take part in the Customizer of the Month article: It's like a right of passage. To be mentioned in the same breath with people who's work you admire is a big deal. These guys keep raising the bar which in turn tests my limits.
What lines of toys/models do you collect: I started with Star Wars since day one then moved on to James Bond. Now I'm hooked on JLU.
If you could give one tip to other customizers, what would it be: 1.Don't rush, if you do, it'll show. 2.Try to put your own spin on it (add a weapon, change a facial expression, etc)
What inspires you when you do a custom: It could be just a real cool character or something nobody's done before.
What is your favorite custom that you have: Jonah Hex - he's a bad ass.
What custom do you feel is your best: The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. I really think I hit my mark with everyone of Alan Moore's creations. Plus I'm a big Allen Quatermain fan (hence the name)
