Why do you customize: to fill in time between drawing comic pages and art commissions.i also like to see heroes that have no shot of becoming jlu toys standing side by side with store bought jlu figures.big fan of the over looked heroes
Where do you customize: on a wee snack table in front of the tee vee,computer at the side for ref i might need and depending on the time of day behind me you'll find my girlfriend asking me if i'm almost done but if she's at work you find a large lap desk with whatever comic page or commission i'm working on
When did you start customizing: roughly two years ago
When do you customize: after work, weekends, days off
How much time, on average, do you spend customizing each week: a whole load of time. i tend to get lost in it
How many customs have you done: i haven't really been counting but if i need to guess 80-90ish was giving them away for gifts for awhile back when i first started making them
What type/brand of paint do you use: folk art or apple barrel acrylics
Have you ever bought a custom: yup. for my custom are like art and i'm a collector as well as a artist.
Have you ever sold one of your customs: yup. ain't that a kick.if i was to keep them all i'd have no room. as it is i have most of them pack away for a move that is going down this year.
Are there any other types of customs that you have never done but would like to try: maybe if a line comes along that looks as radtastic as jlu someday
Why did you take part in the Customizer of the Month article: Dr. Solstice said it should go down like that and then i got a pm from stew about being cotm and i was like "wow that's awesome! ok!"
What lines of toys/models do you collect: jlu, started picking up the old big jim and the pack toys
If you could give one tip to other customizers: what would it be: just keep creating like bozo used to say only instead of all that laughing you get some work done
What inspires you when you do a custom: cartoons,comics, stay thoughts
